What is a Salary?

Salary is a specific amount of money that an employee is paid for
work done.

The big question is Which type do you earn?
1. *Onion Salary:* - You grab it, you open it, and you cry.

2. *Storm Salary:* - You don’t know when it’s coming or going.

3. *Menstrual Salary:* - It comes once a month and lasts only four
days.

4. *Magic Salary:* - You touch it and it disappears.

5. *Amnesia Salary:* - You can’t remember what you spent it on.

6. *Time Travelling Salary:* - You spend it paying various debts even
before you collect it.

7. *Active Salary* - Once you stop working, it stops.
But there is another one called *RESIDUAL INCOME*
What is Residual Income?

*You work once, and it keeps paying you over and over and over again
even AFTER you have stopped working.*

Whether it's magic salary, amnesia salary or onion salary, the moment
it STOPS coming, your life becomes unbearable.
*Financial LITERACY is the tool needed to TRANSFORM your salary
into a RESIDUAL INCOME, so you can create financial freedom and time freedom.*

*ONLY YOUR INVESTMENT can keep you going even after all the onions, amnesty, traveling, active salaries have left you drenched.*

Research has it that the poorest group of people in the world are Salary
earners, next to beggars.
They live in a vicious cycle of poverty managed for 30 days. Salary is continuously being awaited every month and any slight delay brings about heartbreaking anxiety, pressure and disappointment.

*Salary Is a short term

DAY 25 OF #RESISTOPPRESSION

PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OSIBANJO'S DECORATION OF ACTING IGP UNCONSTITUTIONALLY APPOINTED IS ACTION IN SUPPORT OF IMPUNITY

I am seized of media reports wherein Professor Yemi Osibanjo SAN, the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria decorated
Usman Alkali Baba with the rank of the Inspector General of Police upon his purported appointment by Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Retired), who is purporting to be exercising Presidential powers from overseas, to wit, from his sickbed in a Private hospital in London, United Kingdom.

I have voraciously argued that  Major General Muhammadu Buhari’s failure to transmit power to the Vice- President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo SAN upon his foreign medical trip to London, United Kingdom is in flagrant violation of  Section 145(1)(2) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 2011 as amended.

For the sake of clarity, Section 145(1)(2) of the 1999 Constitution unambiguously provides and is hereunder reproduced inter alia that:

“(1) WHENEVER the President is proceeding on vacation or is otherwise unable to discharge the functions of his office, he SHALL transmit a written declaration to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives to that effect, and until he transmits to them a written declaration to the contrary, the Vice-President shall perform the functions of the President as Acting President.

“(2) In the event that the President is unable or fails to transmit the written declaration mentioned in subsection (1) of this section within 21 days, the National Assembly shall, by a resolution made by a simple majority of the vote of each House of the National Assembly, mandate the Vice-President to perform the functions of the office of the President as Acting President until the President transmits a letter to the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives that he is now available to resume his functions as President.”

The questions  to ask are numerous but some are:

1. Why is Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Retired) adamant in purporting to exercise the powers of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria when on a private medical visit in violation of Section 154 (1) (2) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?

2. Why is Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Retired) purporting to appoint an Acting Inspector General of Police without compliance with the constitutional procedure of appointing same?

3. Why is Professor Yemi Osibanjo SAN, a Distinguished Professor of Law and Senior Advocate of Nigeria decorating impunity by first of all refusing to assert the impropriety of the unconstitutional conduct of Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Retired) in purportedly exercising powers as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria against the provisions of the Constitution and in decorating an Acting Inspector General of Police, appointed without compliance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?

The answers seem to be , as a poet , said to be blowing in the wind.

Furthermore, to elucidate on the illegality and unconstitutionality of the
recent appointment of Usman Alkali Baba as the Acting Inspector of Police (IGP) , it is important to stress that , the President lacks the power to unilaterally appoint the (Acting) Inspector General of Police.

By virtue of Section 215 and 217 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the appointment of an IGP shall be made by the President on the advice of Nigeria Police Council.

I wish to state that  aa  at the time the appointment was made, the Council is yet to meet, let alone carry out its mandate. The Council, composed of the President, all Governors, Police Service Commission Chair, and the IGP, does not have any say in the appointment; a violation of the Constitution.

The failure to seek the advice of the Council renders the appointment unconstitutional, defective and null and void. Worryingly, Section 7(3) of the 'Police Act' signed by the President just last year provides for the same condition.

Despite the above, President Buhari acted lawlessly. Apart from the failure to consult the Council, the appointment of Baba violates Section 7(6) of the Police Act, 2020 which provides for the term of office of an IGP. By law, an appointee must be able to spend four years in office whereas Usman Baba retires on March 1, 2023.

More also, an officer to be appointed to the office of the IGP must be one whose retirement will not fall before the end of the four-year tenure. It cannot be the contemplation of law for new appointee for the office of the Inspector General of Police  to be routinely appointed. I hold that such  will be inimical to national security, stability and peace

As I have earlier argued, assuming without conceding that all the requirements of law were met, the President still cannot validly make any appointment. I submit that  the failure to transmit power when embarking on vacation renders anything done by or on behalf of the President null and void. All acts done by the President at the time he unlawfully exercises power as President while on vacation amount to a nullity, sheer waste of time and zero at the centre of nothing; you cannot put something on nothing and expect that it stands. Please refer to  Section 145 (1)(2)of the Constitution, earlier reproduced.

From the foregoing, in my respectful view ,   Usman Baba Alkali cannot be said to be Nigeria’s (Acting) IGP, in the eyes of the law except we all give up that the law now means nothing in our country.

for your business

I wish to state that the actions of the duo of Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Retired) and Professor Yemi Osibanjo SAN, having failed, refused and neglected to abide by the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999 as amended) as contained in their respective Oath of Offices when being sworn into the Offices of the President and Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have implications of both civil liabilities and impeachable offences.

I hereby give notice that the actions and inactions of the duo and the purported appointment of Usman Alkali Baba as the Acting Inspector General of Police will be challenged in a Court of competent jurisdiction.

Power Of Encouragement-Godday Odidi

If you want to succeed in life, you need positive people around you, those who pray for you, those who support you with money, those who like, share, and comment on your post on social media positively, those who network you with top friends and so on.

At a point, I felt like giving up when I saw that my support was not good enough to further my media career. It was a tough one!

One day, Dr. Orobosa Ubogu called me to his office to encourage me how to remain consistent in the media. Many people saw me as a joker while others like him saw me as a future to support and encouraged
He told me Godday, you are always humble to learn and make corrections.

Tell me one man or woman who made it to the top without a great encourager or supporter. God is there to help us but somebody must be there to make the vision realizable on earth.

I want to thank those who always comment, like, and share my posts on social media are part of my destiny supporters. Without you, there is no Mindset media.

Someone once told me that Godday, you don't write about me again, you have those you write about. I'm not on your list anymore. I smiled at him. I told him, how many times have you called or texted me to know my feelings? Learn to check on people.

Those who check on me are my great encouragers. Many people I promote, don't give me millions but their prayers and supports towards my dream is a booster.

Sometimes, you sent messages to these people, they ignored it, they make promises, they can't fulfill them. Even to encourage you, it is a problem.

Someone I hold esteem recently told me, I was abusing my relationship with her. I was shocked by that statement. I have been introducing her to people but she has not introduced me to anybody. I could not sleep for days.
I have been reading success stories over the years to date, I have not seen anybody who made it without God using someone to fulfill that dream. I'm not yet there but contentment and consistency keep me growing daily.

If your circle of friends can't encourage you, change them now. It is not about preaching good sermons on social media, practicalize it physically. Anybody who feels threatening as you are growing is an enemy. I don't need to know you before, I promote you. It is a mandate God gave me on earth to promote humanitarian services and personalities.

Talent discovery, Development, And Prophecy

Talent discovery, Development, And Prophecy-Godday Odidi

At one point, every child was prophesied upon as a great person in the future. Some parents never paid attention to these prophecies.

Prophecies are exam sheets to prepare the minds of students for the real examination. Prophecies are necessary if properly guided by the parents to the children. Prophecy does not mean, you should fold your hands and wait for the manifestation without creative action.

While growing up from a child to teenager to youth, I had many prophecies upon me from preachers and non-preachers on greatness. I was very brilliant as a child but we were growing up to read books and worked in government establishments. Our academic seriousness to read and come out with an excellent result.

Little attention was given to talent discovery and development. Only a few people discovered their talents and became wealthy but lack financial management.

In those days, stubborn children were sent to join the army. Those joining the army or any uniformed profession were passionate about it. We had the best military forces in Nigeria who were ready to defend its citizens. Today, the military force is sold out to the enemies, top military officers want money, not a defense. The government on its own created nepotism and tribalism into the system.

First, you must discover your talent as a person and strength and passion. You must learn profitable skills, not just skills. Skills that can back up your talent and passion professionally.

My writing skills never started today. When I was teaching to make ends meet, I knew my passion was not in the teaching profession because my career was stagnant. Anything you are doing, you don't find joy, it means, that is not your area of life.

While courting with my wife then, she went to a business center to photocopy some documents. She met a man he never met in her life. After she has photocopied her documents, the young man said,  can I talk to you in a few minutes? she felt the young man wanted to woo her for a love. So, she paid attention, Holy Spirit revealed your husband you are about to marry, God gave him a gift that would make way for him, not all these TV programs, he is attending always. I was writing not but putting more interest in the certificate then. Today, I write for a living and mentor young people.

Those I met earlier in life never shown me a way to success but only using the word it is the Lord's doing. Discover yourself now!

Examine True Friendship

Examine True Friendship In Life-Godday Odidi

Not everybody is your friend or enemy. Life has taught me to study people before getting close to them. You might be working with your enemy unknown to you.

Today, everybody sees me with my mentor, Dr.Michael Orobosa Ubogu, some say, Godday is lucky, I just laugh, it took my mentor and brother about 6years to study my behavior if I'm one of those who is after his money or fame. I knew him from his starting point and he knew how the journey of Mindset started too. Today, I'm not just his protege but a younger brother he counsels and listens to always.

Today, I m well-respected in the Maritime industry, he officially introduced me to his mentor and father, Comrade Adeyanju Adewale. We designed the e-voting website to be used for future MWUN elections.

Friendship is all about trust, love, and due process. Playing outsmarting attitude towards your helpers or mentors could stop further helps in life.

My mentor taught me something, before you do business with people, do background verification but I have been victims of this. I'm so compassionate about people's problems and always ready to render quick assistance.

Sometimes, the people I pity, feel they are too much and now they can do without me. One opportunity can close by one bad attitude in life. Dr.Ubogu and Comrade Adeyanju have taught me to follow due process in life. One bad report about you can stop some people from helping you in life.

Most problems we face today are not spiritual but physical, trying to run faster than our destinies. In Nigeria, the attitudinal character has eaten deep into our mindsets.

Anybody who connects you to your profession is your God but trying to dent his or her image before the helper might result in future battles.

A few years ago, I went to look for a job at a law firm at Surulere, Lagos, the young man that welcomed me into his MD's office was a worker. After the MD saw my CV, he wanted to employ me immediately that my CV convinced him that I could do better than the young man that welcomed me to his office. I just smiled and left his office. I was jobless but never allowed myself to be used as a prayer point.

If you must grow steadily, the guiding principle of life, you must follow them accordingly to examine a true friendship. Quality friendship brings positive results.

What Are You Focusing On

What Are You Focusing On

I was in a heated discussion with a respected fellow, he was complaining seriously about the economic situation of Nigeria. I reply by telling him, it depends on what you are focusing on.

He told me that since he was born, this is the worst time he has ever experienced. I replied by saying, this is the best of times I have ever lived to experience.

Challenges are bread for winners. The difference between a winner and a loser is their mentality. It is not the economic situation of Nigeria that determines our response, rather _it is our mentality_.

Have you not observed that many guys are building houses and buying properties here and there? Top-Notch Entrepreneurs are investing in our ventures, diversifying their portfolios. We must see beyond what is happening now.

I was teaching at a business seminar organized by a church last Sunday. *I told them that anytime there are economic crises like we are experiencing now, God is set to expand our businesses*.

" *What we focus on expanding".* There are a lot of opportunities all around us, it all depends on what we are focusing on.

That is why mentoring is very critical at this moment. Mentoring helps in forming a great mentality. Mentoring gives us perspectives.

 Who is your mentor?

Seek mentoring relationship

ERECTION

Mr man, that early morning erection is not for sex, it only reminds you that you are a man and need to get up from bed and work to be a real man. Poverty is manufactured from the bed. If you follow all the dictates of your erections and urge for sleep, you will die in poverty.

 NOTE THE FOLLOWING

Erection is a state of arousal of sexual desires in a man in preparation for sexual exploitation.

Having an erection is natural but obeying the dictates of your erection is a choice.

For every election, there's a responsibility. Wise men have control over their erection but foolish men obey their erections.

Any erection not properly controlled is capable of leading one to an early grave.

Many became useless fathers because they didn't control their erections.

Some are in prison because they followed the dictates of their stupid erection.

Others have lost great opportunities in life because their erection pushed them.

The stupidity of erection is that most times it isn't selective.

Unchecked erection has led great kings to be at the bed of their slaves and maids.

Erection has not left the clergy out of the drama as many have been found messing up with those they ought to be shepherd over. What a stupid erection!

A strong man is not measured by the level of his physical muscle or by the number of nations he has conquered but by his ability to control his erection.

No man in history could be said to be more powerful than Samson yet his erection made him the weakest in history, his erection made him fall on the laps of a woman.

David killed Goliath and conquered many great nations but he couldn't conquer his erection, he became weak at the sight of Bathsheba, the wife of his servant.

Reuben ruined his future and generation after him because of his uncontrollable erection.

Don't let your erection destroy your destiny!

Your erection is a sign you are a real man but following it everywhere it leads you is a sign of weakness.

Any man who cannot control his erection can't control his life.

The only time your erection cannot mislead you is when you use it within the confines of your marriage.

Stop following your erection, follow your vision.

Unto Him who is able to keep us from falling, I commit each and every one
of us and pray that we shall all finish well and finish strong. Amen

DON'T ALLOW YOUR  ERECTION TO DETERMINE YOUR DIRECTION!!!

7 Benefits Of Working Online In 2021

THREE TYPES OF PEOPLE ON EARTH

THREE TYPES OF PEOPLE ON EARTH
- Idiots,
- Tribesmen, and
- Citizens.

1. Unless you understand your role in society, you can never make any meaningful contribution.

According to the Greeks, there are three types of people on earth,
- the idiots,
- the tribesmen, and
- the citizens.

Studies show only 10% of Africans are citizens.
The remaining 90% are either tribesmen or idiots.

2. When the Greeks used the word *"idiot"*, they did not use it as a curse word.
Idiots are people who just don’t care.
If they write exams, they will cheat.
If they are in government they will steal.
An idiot does not care at all, if he eats bananas he throws the peels anywhere instead of putting them in a  trash bin.

According to the Greeks, some societies have more idiots than tribesmen and citizens.

3. The next set of people are tribesmen, these are people that look at everything from the point of view of their tribe.

These are people that believe in you only if you are part of their tribe.
It can be terrible to have a tribesman as a leader, he will alienate the rest.

When the Greeks talk about tribes, it’s not just about ethnicity, they also consider religion as a tribe.
A great percentage of Africans are tribesmen because they view everything from the point of view of their tribes.
They trust only their tribesmen.

4. The last group is citizens.
These are people that like to do things the right way.
They will respect traffic light rules even if no one is watching them.
They drive within speed limits.
They respect the laws, won’t cheat in exams.
In government, they won’t steal.
They are compassionate and give to others to promote their wellbeing.

Citizens often promote projects that benefit everyone.
The Greeks called this group the citizens.

Some countries have more citizens than tribesmen and idiots.
Others have so many idiots.

A tribesman can become a citizen through orientation.
And an idiot can become a citizen by training and constant enforcement of the law.

But things fall apart if you elect an idiot or tribesman to lead you if he has not been reformed.

Where do you belong?
Are you an idiot, a tribesman, or a citizen?

Reflect on your life.
Reflect on
your country and Africa in general before you answer.

Food for thought.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Setting up a Private Limited Liability Company.

If you have any plans of taking OPM (Other People's Money) and these other people happen to be institutions, a Private Limited Liability Company is the type of business entity you need.

Advantages of Setting Up a Private Limited Liability Company

The company has the ability to continue to exist beyond the death of its shareholders, unlike in a Business Name or a P
artnership (except the Partnership Agreement states otherwise). Companies like Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, Apple etc. are examples.
It is also a separate entity distinct from its shareholders as such it is possible for a company to be liable for action whilst the shareholders are shielded from such liability.
The advantages notwithstanding, incorporating a company creates some degree of additional complexity and expenses as compared to opting for a business name.

Disadvantages of Setting Up a Private Limited Liability Company

Setting up a company can be expensive
Having a company also limits your privacy.
There are numerous filing obligations (annual returns, resolutions, change of directors and/or shareholders etc.) As a company, you are statutorily obligated to file annual returns, which must be supported by the company's audited accounts.
The often mentioned double taxation.
Double taxation, as the name implies, means being taxed twice, and this is absolutely legal. So how does this happen? When a Company declares profits, it pays tax at a corporate level, i.e. as a company to the Federal Government through the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). And then when it distributes profits (dividend) to its members, each member pays personal income tax on that dividend to the government of the state where they are resident. So if you live in Lagos, the Lagos Inland Revenue Service (LIRS) would be the agency you will be paying your taxes to.

If you are looking at types of business entities, you should consider setting up a Private Limited Liability Company.

Have You Had The Word IMPOSSIBLE Take It As A MOTIVATION

Never tell a young person that anything cannot be done. God may have been waiting centuries for someone ignorant enough of the impossible to do that very thing.

The more people tell you it's not possible, that it can't be done, the more you should be absolutely determined to prove them wrong. Treat the word 'impossible' as nothing more than motivation.

Never stop fighting for what you believe in and for the people who care about you.

Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible. It always seems impossible until it's done.

Never say that you can't do something, or that something seems impossible, or that something can't be done, no matter how discouraging or harrowing it may be; human beings are limited only by what we allow ourselves to be limited by our own minds.

We are each the masters of our own reality; when we become self-aware of this: absolutely anything in the world is possible. Nobody is better than another, not one. The only thing that differentiates us is God's grace.

Have faith in God. Dare the impossible, and watch the unseen forces come to your aid.

It's not over until I win.

WORLD'S FIRST FEMALE AND FIRST AFRICAN DIRECTOR GENERAL OF WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION"

She was raised by her grandmother because her parents were studying abroad, when she was finally reunited with them...she held on tight!

She always wanted her father's attention and this need for attention led to a "COINCIDENCE" that changed her life!

Her father was a lecturer at the University of Ibadan, a mathematical economist who was working on a paper and didn't want any disturbance but the young girl needed her father's attention...

So he picked a book off his shelf and gave his daughter to read the 1st chapter that he would ask questions later and she happily ran off to read it, happy she got her father's attention...

The book turned out to be a book in "ECONOMICS", it was boring and she didn't enjoy it but she still read it and promised herself NEVER to read "ECONOMICS"

- COINCIDENCE 1 -

A few years later at the age of 18, she had already passed her entrance exams to Cambridge and Harvard with Cambridge being her main choice...

She wanted Cambridge because she wanted to study "GEOGRAPHY" and her godmother was lobbying for her to come to Cambridge but something happened, her mother had just gained admission to Boston to do her Ph.D. and as a young teenager, it was better to stay with her mum.

She had to go to "HARVARD" which is in Boston to stay close to her mum.

You can call this "- COINCIDENCE 2 -" as we're trying to create a pattern.

On getting to Harvard, they didn't offer her core subject "GEOGRAPHY" and the only subject close to it that could satisfy her curiosity was "ECONOMICS"

So she studied "ECONOMICS", a subject she swore never to read in a school that was never her first choice...

- COINCIDENCE 3 -

Forbes called her the "Accidental Economist" but I don't see it as "Accidental" or "Coincidence", it was God pushing her towards her destiny of greatness...

Thanks to Economics
- Former MD World Bank
- First Female Finance Minister
- Euromoney Global Finance Minister

And yesterday she became the "WORLD'S FIRST FEMALE AND FIRST AFRICAN DIRECTOR GENERAL OF WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION"

Her name is Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala

Do you think it was a coincidence or God playing anonymous behind the scenes and directing her steps...

I believe things happen for a reason, there is no coincidence in life.

You can see how every major event in her life led to the next big event, they are all connected.

Congratulations ma Ngozi Okonjo Iweala
You've made us proud again
God's direction we pray!!!

TRAIN THE GIRL CHILD!!!
