Spreadsheet Features  


1. Row: these run from left to right across the window and their position is designated by a number
2. Columns: Columns run from top to bottom to the window and f course their position is designed by a letter.
3. Cells: Cells are formed by the intersection of row and column. Each cell in the spreadsheet is identified by cell referred to as cell address. 
4. Value: A value or number is a piece of data that can be used in a calculation 
5. Formula: This is an instruction that tells the computer to work out the answer for the values entered. A formula is like a mathematical equation. All formulae in Excel must start with an equal sign (=)
