Explain the term spreadsheet and state any four applications on it

Spreadsheet has been in existence for a very long time. Originally, it has been seen  as a program that emulated an accountant’s spreadsheet.

Spreadsheet is a grid of rows and columns that display all the number data for a business or other organization on a sheet of paper.

Electronic spreadsheet may be defined as a program which organizes information into row and columns so that it can be operated on easily.

2.    Lotus 123

3.    Stat View

4.    Quarto Pro etc.
